Dear Families,
We are completing up our apple unit this week and will begin our pumpkin unit. We will be investigating our apples and looking at their color, height, and weight. We will be exploring the life cycle of a pumpkin and wrapping up our week making applesauce in the classroom. In math, we will be making three different patterns with apples, learning about five frames, and measuring pumpkins. For math centers, we will be exploring our apples by counting our seeds, weighing our apple, and making a print of our apple. If you have not had a chance to send in one or two apples with your child, please do so on Tuesday. This week in Second Step we will focus on being assertive.
